A Duel

Below is a newspaper account of a duel that took place between a Kentuckian and an Englishman in 1812 when the two countries were at the brink of war.  Readers of the Niles Weekly Register, from which this clipping was taken, will detect a rising patriotic fervor.

great fun. Thanks for not placing the words backwards!!! got all but one. Couldn’t locate the answer to serious which I think is warm or anxious
