WWTFT Solves the Budget Crisis in One Year!

We received an interesting note to our feedback line about a cool little app with which you can see how YOU would balance the budget. It’s kind of fun, actually, although it does prevent you from making a reduction of greater than 99% in any area. (Hence there is still a line item for the Department of Education and the Food Stamp Program, SNAP, in the budget below.)

As you can see, with a little diligence, it’s possible to balance the US budget without raising taxes, and actually have a bit of a surplus. This doesn’t take into account how much the economy would grow given the tax cut that is also part of this proposal!
