What? Clearly Carson does not say he would legislate against a Muslim running for president.  He said that a Muslim should not be president. He is entitled to that opinion.

He was unapologetic and did not waffle in a clear statement.  Good!

There isn’t room on this blog to list all the people that, in the opinion of this WWTFT blogger, don’t belong in the presidency. The reasons for opposing them may be as numerous as the people being opposed.  They might include:

  • Opposing views on moral issues (like abortion)
  • Opposing views about the principles upon which this country was founded
  • A view that holds women as chattel
  • Byzantine religious views outside of American culture
  • Being politically correct

The list could go on and on.  Americans are (still) entitled to form the basis of their voting choices on whatever criteria they choose. The point is, Ben Carson didn’t say he would legislate or use governmental force to prevent a Muslim from being president.  When asked if he thought a Muslim should be be president , he said no. A lot of people agree.  Those who disagree with that opinion probably wouldn’t be Carson voters anyway.

To the main stream media:  “Shut up.”
