Sunday Links

This week wasn’t any too short of news – even if the MSM chose to ignore most of it, in favor of reporting on a speech from May, where presidential candidate Mitt Romney told the truth. Romney’s supposed gaffe was newsworthy enough to merit three whole days of front page coverage in several national newspapers.

Meanwhile, embassies are burning, Obama and Hillary are spending your tax dollars to advertise disavowals of a stupid video – in Pakistan, Iraq continues to ignore US requests to establish a no-fly zone to Syria (for Iran), the Fed is printing money as fast as it can, the US credit rating has been downgraded for the second time, Jay Carney does an about face and admits that the 9/11 attacks were self-evident terrorism, but forgets to tell Obama, who tells Univision that it’s the video. The list goes on, but I begin to emulate Alexander Hamilton too much with my gargantuan sentence structure. But, we mustn’t forget the Fast and Furious coverup, Obama’s skipping intelligence briefings, the CIA angle in Libya, or the role former Guantanamo detainee Sufyan Ben Qumu played in the attack on Libya. Nope, it’s more important to talk about Romney making a politically uncomfortable acknowledgement of fact – making sure to ignore the rest of his remarks on the Fed – who needs context?

It’s all about a video, or Romney, or something other than these minor issues. Well, the bloggers below thought differently. Enjoy the links.
